This magnificent 69 year old Rolls-Royce captures the nostalgia of bygone years. It has a spacious and comfortable interior for the bride and all her attire and will carry up to six people if required. Originally owned by the Courtauld family from Palace Gardens, London, it seems reasonable to assume that much of her early life would have been spent in the city. However, with the outbreak of World War 2 and the introduction of petrol rationing, the Wraith was garaged until 1949.
Originally finished in the obligatory black of the period, she was repainted white when her new role was decided. The car was purchased by the Stainton family of Kendal in 1957 and she has continued to convey brides to the altar since then.
